you're a moron. so we should blame the whistle-blower - not the clueless idiots that allowed this to happen? do you want to have another fire? i guess another fire is ok with you as long as your precious board majority smells like roses. wake up - why do you think the owners shouldn't know about this? don't you care about your home? or do you just want to continue putting your head in the sand and blindly beliving the liars who are running this place down?

Last night Center and Wagner were down in the gassy area near Tower 1 in front of where the school was , playing with their dogs. It has become their private dog run. Tonight and from now in, I will be with camera If she can use that area for her dog, everyone can.

Yesterday, I was asked by the Comptroller if I "dropped a dime" and called in the State. I told him what I've told you before:

THE STATE WAS ALREADY INVITED TO THE PARTY.

THE INVITATION CAME FROM YOUR FRIENDS ON THE BOARD...

LAST WEEK AFTER BEING WARNED, YOUR PALS ON THE BOARD INSTRUCTED THE ACTING GENERAL MANAGER TO HIRE A SECOND CONTRACTOR TO WORK ON THE FIRE SAFETY SYSTEM.

I ASKED THE GENERAL MANAGER: IS THIS CONTRACTOR ON THE LIST OF CONTRACTORS APPROVED TO WORK ON SPRINKLER SYSTEMS BY THE STATE OF NJ? HE SAID "YES."

GUESS WHAT? THE CONTRACTOR ISN'T ON THE LIST. DID THE ACTING GENERAL MANAGER KNOW THERE WAS A LIST? PROBABLY NOT...DID THE BOARD PRESIDENT AND HIS PALS MAKE SURE HE KNEW ABOUT THE LIST...PROBABLY NOT...

MY QUESTION TO YOU ANONYMOUS--AND TO ALL GALAXY OWNERS--IS VERY SIMPLE

HOW MUCH ARE YOU WILLING TO PAY FOR THE TROUBLE CAUSED BY AN INCOMPETENT BOARD?

Dear Galaxy Residents,

For several months, rumors have been going around about closing the garage due to failure to correct outstanding violations. My inquiries to the Board about this matter produced a single response from the Board President who said "I do not respond to emails."

I confirmed that the rumor was true by speaking with the Town Mayor.

I informed the Mayor that contractors had been hired to inspect, repair, and certify the sprinkler system and the fire alarm system but that work did not appear to be moving forward very rapidly for reasons I did not understand.

At the last Board meeting, it was confirmed that work had been halted or never started on correcting the violations due to failure to pay the contractors.

The Board President stated he intended to "get more bids" for work to repair the garage sprinkler system."

At that point, I realized that this Board was not going to take the actions required by the State within the required timeframe.

I therefore contacted the Division of Fire Safety and expressed my concerns. I noted that the State of New Jersey had excellent fire safety regulations and I asked the Division to do its best to enforce them.

I knew before I contacted the Division that a representative of the Division was already scheduled to meet with the local fire official and Town government representatives to discuss a plan of action for dealing with the Galaxy's outstanding fire safety violations.

Did my contact with the Division have an impact on the discussions? I didn't bring any new information to the table--the Galaxy track record is well established with violation notices and correspondence--all public information.

But I do think the Division takes complaints about fire safety violations very seriously--this division is charged with doing everything possible to protect the residents of the State from the disasterous consequences of fire. Complaints are heard and perhaps mine came at the right time.

Yesterday, after the meeting between the concerned parties, a representative of the Division called me. He let me know that a Punitive Order to Close the Galaxy Garage would be issued. The representative informed me that the Galaxy has the right to appeal. The appeal is generally heard in two to three weeks. It's unclear exactly how this will unfold.

Although I'm on the Board, I don't have a clue what will happen next.

The association attorney has ordered other directors not to communicate with me about this matter. He has accused me of "communicating potentially false and incomplete information to officials without proper authorization."

I note that my communications with the Division were not sent to the Board so the attorney is engaging in pure speculation about their contents.

But for the record, I can say that the information I discussed with the Division didn't come from "confidential" GTCA records--I don't have any of those! My information comes from public records--and my own inquiries, both current and in the past. In all my communications, I made it very clear that I was contacting the Division as a Galaxy owner and resident and not as a member of the GTCA Board.

And, last time I looked, Guttenberg is located in the State of New Jersey and the United States of American. Since when does a resident of New Jersey require require "proper authorization" from a "condo board" to discuss public record information with a state official concerning a serious safety matter?

The attorney didn't have the courage or the courtesy to send his email to me. I found out about his threats and accusations by accident when another director forwarded his email to me by mistake'Very Happy'

Doesn't that sum up our situation here? Our business is conducted IN SECRET.

Accusations of "unauthorized activities" are made IN SECRET...

No doubt the trial and the hanging will be done IN SECRET...
